“Friendship is the whole of the spiritual life.” - Buddha

The Buddha understood that spiritual friendship is central to spiritual life. Indeed many of the Buddha's teachings were oriented to how to be a good friend or Kalyana mitra. He emphasized the value of relational practice and ways to bring our practice into the world.

Join us for an opportunity to share practice and reflection in the company of spiritual friends and explore this powerful teaching offered by the Buddha. Open to all.

Led by Padmadharini. Padmamadharini has taught Buddhism for over 20 years. She is a hospital chaplain and Mindfulness coach and educator. She lives with her wife and extended community of friends in NJ.

Morning will be followed by a brown-bag lunch. Bring something vegetarian to share if you’d like to have a group lunch afterwards.

Suggested donation: $50-$80
