Event Description:
The Young Buddhist Initiative is a welcoming space for anyone aged 35 and under to explore Buddhist teachings and meditation in a friendly, community setting.
In this session, we’ll explore the theme of “It’s Not About Being Good: Karma and How It’s Crucial for a Happy Life.”
All are welcome — no prior experience with Buddhism or meditation is necessary.

About the Leaders:
Lizzie Rolley has been actively training for ordination within the Triratna Buddhist Community since 2019, first through the London Buddhist Centre and now with Triratna New York. Alongside her spiritual path, she works in corporate consulting, where she focuses on ethical considerations within her industry.
Suryapala is an Ordained Buddhist in the Triratna Buddhist Community and has been practicing meditation regularly for six years. He began his Buddhist journey in the United Kingdom and for the last several years has been an active member of the New York/New Jersey sangha.
