Event Description:

The Young Buddhist Initiative is a welcoming space for anyone aged 35 and under to explore Buddhist teachings and meditation in a friendly, community setting.

In this session, we’ll draw inspiration from the Buddha’s journey to awakening—his life in the palace, his search for truth, and the insights he gained under the Bodhi tree. Through talks, discussion, and meditation, we’ll reflect on what this journey can mean for us today in our own lives and practice.

All are welcome—no prior experience with Buddhism or meditation is necessary.

Agenda:

  • Welcome & Mindfulness Meditation

  • Talk & Discussion: The Buddha’s Journey Before Enlightenment

  • Walking Meditation

  • Break

  • Talk & Discussion: The Buddha After Enlightenment – Sharing the Path

  • Closing Practice & Dedication of Merit
