Sangha Night With Jnanadhara (Online)

Sangha Night with Jnanadhara: The Four Gifts
Led By: Jnanadhara
Monday, April 6th, 2026
6:30 - 8:00 pm EST

Online via Zoom

Event Description:

Join us for our monthly Sangha night community gathering!

The Four Gifts is a poem written by the Founder of the Triratna movement, Sangharakshita. This poem — and the lectures about it later published as “Buddhism for Today - and Tomorrow” — express the core of Triratna’s vision: a creative presentation of the Buddha’s teaching which is rooted in tradition and shaped for modern life.

Join us for teaching and discussion about this seminal work that is so meaningful to our tradition.

Sangha Nights are a special, once-a-month opportunity for the Triratna NY-NJ community to come together for an evening of Dharma programming and companionship. We gather on Zoom for meditation, Dharma talk and input, discussion groups, and reflections — all held within the context of spiritual friendship and community.

Agenda:

  • Meditation

  • Dharma talk

  • Small group discussion

  • Large group gathering

  • Meditation

  • Closing

About the Leader:

Jnanadhara is originally from New Zealand, where he met the Triratna Community. He was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2003 and was chair of the Dublin Buddhist Centre for 12 years. He is a member of the Adhisthana Teaching Community and is now the International Movement Coordinator. Jnanadhara believes that practising and communicating the Dharma is the best way of responding to the world with all its problems, and of realizing his potential, and the potential of others.
