Online via Zoom
Event Description:
Join us for our monthly Sangha night community gathering!
The Four Gifts is a poem written by the Founder of the Triratna movement, Sangharakshita. This poem — and the lectures about it later published as “Buddhism for Today - and Tomorrow” — express the core of Triratna’s vision: a creative presentation of the Buddha’s teaching which is rooted in tradition and shaped for modern life.
Join us for teaching and discussion about this sentinel work that is so meaningful to our tradition.
Sangha Nights are a special, once-a-month opportunity for the Triratna NY-NJ community to come together for an evening of Dharma programming and companionship. We gather on Zoom for meditation, Dharma talk and input, discussion groups, and reflections — all held within the context of spiritual friendship and community.

About the Leader:
Jnanadhara is originally from New Zealand and started practicing with the Triratna Community in the UK. He was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2003. He was the chair of the Dublin Buddhist Centre for 10 years. He is a member of the Adhisthana Teaching Community and is now the International Movement Coordinator. Jnanadhara shares that practising and communicating about Buddhism is a way of responding to the world with all its problems, and a way of bringing forth and realizing his potential, and the potential of others.
