Sangha Night With Viradhamma (Online)

The Buddha’s Last Journey
Led By: Viradhamma
Monday, June 1st, 2026
6:30 - 8:00 pm EST

Online via Zoom

Event Description:

Viradhamma will talk about the Buddha’s final journey from Rajagaha to Kushinagar and the teachings he chose to focus on in the last days of his life. The Parinibbana Suta and the Sutta Nipata are ancient sources that give us a perspective on the Buddha as a human being and what is essential in the Dharma.

Sangha Nights are a special, once-a-month opportunity for the Triratna NY-NJ community to come together for an evening of Dharma programming and companionship. We gather on Zoom for meditation, Dharma talk and input, discussion groups, and reflections — all held within the context of spiritual friendship and community.

Agenda:

  • Meditation

  • Discussion

  • Closing meditation
